Set up Alex, your internal answers employee

Alex answers product, eng, and ops questions in your channels, with citations or not at all. This is the right first hire for almost every team.

  1. 01

    Hire from the template

    Go to Employees, pick Internal Answers, give them a name. The template ships with citation-required guardrails locked on: answers carry sources or do not ship.

  2. 02

    Feed the org brain

    Add your first documents under Org Brain: pricing, policies, product docs. Paste text or upload files; every fact keeps provenance back to its source.

  3. 03

    Put them in Slack

    Connect Slack from Settings, invite the employee to a channel, and mention them. They answer in-thread and always disclose they are AI.

  4. 04

    Correct them once

    Reply in-thread with a correction the first time an answer is stale. It becomes a named, dated memory, visible in the ledger and revertible by a manager.

What you end up with: A teammate in your channels that answers with citations and gets better every time someone corrects it.
